THE WORK AHEAD

A conversation.
A shared memory.
A better next step.

WHAT WE’RE BUILDING

The context
worth keeping.

Client priorities, planning assumptions, and the reasons behind a decision often sit in separate systems. The work is to preserve that context and make it useful to the next person, without losing its source or access boundaries.

Mudanza is an early-stage advisory platform and governed memory layer. Our direction connects a living client record with planning, daily workflows, and AI that remains accountable to people. These roles will help turn that direction into dependable software and successful implementations.

Meet the co-founders

FIVE PROBLEMS. ONE CONNECTED DIRECTION.

Work worth getting right.

01

Human connection

Keep the person behind the portfolio in view: relationships, priorities, and the details that make advice personal.

02

Connected work

Carry context between workflows so people spend less time reconstructing what the firm already knows.

03

Governed AI

Make sources, permissions, review, and the history of a decision part of the experience.

04

Continuity

Help teams carry relationships forward through absences, transitions, and generations.

05

Visible cost

Make AI quality, latency, and spend measurable so the right work uses the right resources.

HOW WE WORK

Fewer rules.
Clearer standards.

The habits we hire for,
and the ones we hold each other to.

01

Start with the person

Every feature begins with an advisor, an operations lead, or a client and the problem in front of them. We separate what people ask for from what they need.

02

Small and complete

We ship improvements that are finished, not features that are large. A release includes the error states, the permissions, and the evidence that it works.

03

Sources stay visible

What the system knows, where it learned it, and how sure it is are part of the product. Nobody should have to trust a number they can’t trace.

04

Follow the work through

Shipping is the middle of the job. We watch how the work is actually used, and we say plainly what is ready and what is still being built.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A conversation,
not a pipeline.

Four steps. Real people at every one.
We’ll discuss timing with you.

  1. 01

    Introduce yourself

Send a short note and something you’ve built through the form below. Tell us which role interests you and what you would bring to the team.

  2. 02

    A conversation

A relaxed call with a co-founder about your work, what you want next, and whether the problem here is one you’d enjoy.

  3. 03

    A working session

We look at a real Mudanza problem together. You see how we think; we see how you work. No take-home puzzles.

  4. 04

    A decision, directly

Location, working arrangement, compensation, and timeline are discussed with you openly, not through a portal.

START WITH YOUR WORK

There’s more than one way to belong here.

Show us something you built, improved, or helped people adopt. We’re interested in how you think, what you learned, and the responsibility you took along the way.

Choose a role or send an open application. Location, working arrangement, compensation, and timeline are discussed directly with you.

APPLY

Introduce yourself.

Tell us about work you’re proud of. A few honest paragraphs beat a polished pitch.

Please leave out client names, account details, and other confidential information. Read how we handle what you send in our privacy notice.

QUESTIONS

Before you write in.

Do I need a background in wealth management?

No. Curiosity about the people doing the work matters more than industry history. Two of our co-founders run advisory practices and will teach you the domain; you bring the craft.

Where is the team based, and can I work remotely?

Our co-founders are rooted in Richmond, Virginia, and the team works across locations. Location and working arrangement are discussed directly for each role rather than fixed in a listing.

Can I apply for more than one role, or none of them?

Yes. Pick the closest role in the form, or choose “Open application” and tell us where you’d be most useful. We would rather hear from a strong person than miss them on a title.

What happens with what I send?

Your introduction goes straight to the founders’ inbox. We use it only to consider you for a role, we don’t share it outside the hiring team, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What if I need an adjustment to take part?

Tell us in your introduction, or reply to our first email. We will shape the conversation around what works for you.
